Tabata Skill Bench

Tabata:


  • Bench Press (135/95 lbs)
  • Double Unders

8 rounds of 20 seconds of work, followed by 10 seconds of rest for each movement.


Instructions:
- Perform as many reps as possible of Bench Press during the 20 seconds of work, then rest for 10 seconds before moving on to Double Unders.
- Continue alternating between Bench Press and Double Unders for a total of 8 rounds.
- Score is total number of reps completed for both movements combined.
- Bench Press weight should be challenging but manageable for the full 20 seconds of work. Adjust as needed.
- Scale Double Unders to single unders or lateral hops if needed.


Notes:
- Focus on maintaining good form and technique throughout the Tabata intervals.
- Push yourself to keep a consistent pace and maximize reps during the work periods.
- Have a spotter for the Bench Press to ensure safety.
