Tabata Weightlifting Stationary Bike

Tabata:


  • 8 rounds of 20 seconds of max effort on the stationary bike, followed by 10 seconds of rest
  • Every 2 minutes, perform 5 heavy deadlifts

Equipment:
- Stationary Bike
- Barbell for deadlifts


Instructions:
- Set the stationary bike to a challenging resistance level for the Tabata intervals
- Choose a weight for the deadlifts that is heavy but allows for good form
- Focus on pushing hard on the bike intervals and maintaining proper technique on the deadlifts
- Score is total calories burned on the bike and weight used for deadlifts
