Tabata Gymnastics Dumbbell

Tabata:


  • Dumbbell Thrusters
  • Pull-ups

Instructions:
- Perform 8 rounds of 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for each movement.
- Alternate between Dumbbell Thrusters and Pull-ups for each round.
- Score is total reps completed for both movements combined.


Dumbbell Weight: Choose a weight that allows for unbroken sets of thrusters, but still provides a challenge.
Pull-up Modification: Scale to jumping pull-ups or ring rows if needed.
Tabata Format: Push hard during the work intervals knowing you have a short rest period.
